Sezane is one of my favorite French brands to shop. Their handbags are some of my most loved in my closet, I love their tops and dresses, and don’t even get me started on the accessories! This beloved French brand rarely offers sales, but every so often, they feature the Sezane archives. Their ultimate sale of pieces from their archives. Here’s what to know and how to shop the Sezane archives.
How To Shop The Sezane Archives
Scoring a discounted item at Sezane can be a bit tough. Sezane only does a sale twice a year where they pull out their archived pieces at a discount. These are items from the previous season, and often pieces that haven’t been on the website either in a while. It’s limited inventory so you’ll usually see a few items in the Sezane archives that you haven’t been able to shop in addition to recently discounted items.
Know The Dates – When To Shop Sezane Archive Sales
Sezane does an archive sale a couple of times a year. Usually, we see a sale in June or July and then again in January after the holidays. But in 2025, they did an archive sale in May. It’s best to stay up to date with sales by signing up for Sezane’s emails and also getting the Sezane app.
Last Chance vs Archives
On Sezane’s website, you’ll see there is a Last Chance section. While this sounds like a sale section, it isn’t. Many people ask why does Sezane not do sales, and they’ve always maintained that they want to offer a fair pricing model which means their best price year round, outside of these two annual archive sales.
Last Chance is simply the last of the season’s prior items. I have found that this still doesn’t show what may be in the archive sale. Last Chance is not discounted at all, it’s just a spot on the website where you can browse older items that aren’t going to be in their regular category list. I don’t know why this is, may have to do with inventory, but there are items in the Last Chance section that are pretty much fully in stock, but aren’t listed under their designated category section.
Know Your Size
Before you shop at Sezane’s archive sale, you’ll want to know your size in Sezane if you can. Things go FAST, and there’s limited inventory. You can check out my Sezane sizing guide here to make sure you know your size. You can always order a few sizes to try, but stock is often limited during these archive sales.
The sale is also organized by size, so you can easily browse all items that are a size M, or XL and so on. Same with shoes. This makes it really easy to shop the sale because you aren’t browsing items that aren’t available in your size.

Can You Return Sezane Archive Items?
One of the most common questions I get asked is if you can return Sezane archive items. It feels like a final sale event, but it really isn’t! While items go fast, and Sezane doesn’t do sales often, these items are not final sale. Final sale is not really a thing in Paris based on the right of withdrawal law. So that’s a plus! That means you can order what you want to try, and if you don’t like it, you can return it.
Sezane has easy returns too. Orders over $200 get free shipping and free returns. It’s also really easy to get your cart up to $200 so it’s a no-brainer!
