I’ve been extremely boring lately. All black, black and grey, t-shirt and jeans. So, so boring. I decided to finally get a little dressed up and although I’m in head to toe black, I think a leather a-line and sky high heels makes up for the lack of color. This skirt was one of those Nordstrom Anniversary finds that has literally been sitting in my closet since July and hasn’t been touched. I definitely need to change that ASAP now that the weather permits leather a-line skirts.
When it comes to monochromatic looks, they can definitely lean a litlte boring. You may remember this all beige look. My favorite tip on how to wear all black without being boring is to mix in fabrics and textures. It’s an easy way to look fashion forward while wearing one color from head to toe.
