I know I may be a little late here with the red, white and blue considering that the 4th of July was ohhhh about three weeks ago. But it’s still a color combo I love to death and think is always summer acceptable. I also think this is the first time I’ve ever worn this much J.Crew all at once, although this look comes pretty close. And to be honest, I think this is about 90% of my J.Crew pieces I even own.
The one thing they do well though (besides these shorts that I finally can say are my best shorts in my shorts drawer) are great stripes. I’m a recent stripe lover, as seen here and here, I know gasp it only took me 28 years to realize it’s the greatest print ever. I’m currently on a mad hunt to collect all the great stripes I can find. This red stripe linen crew is going to be on heavy repeat for the rest of summer! But now what stripes do I wear for fall?
