First off, can we talk about today’s dark and moody photos? I discovered an amazing photographer in Atlanta named Melissa Artieda. I met with her for coffee in Roswell last week to shoot two looks and get to know her a little better. She’s adorable. And her photos make me all gitty. Does anyone else have this dilemma constantly about wanting their photos and feed to look one way, and then another? Welcome to my life.
Anyway, I wanted to share today’s look because this little pajama top from WAYF is on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s currently only $42.90 and will go back up to $65 on August 7th when the sale is over. I’m also loving this satin version that comes in two fun colors, blush and slate. The pajama top trend has been around for a little while now and I’ve yet to embrace it. Why I don’t know, because pajamas are my favorite thing on the planet. I live in them! The only thing to keep in mind when rocking a pajama top is to keep everything else non-pajama-y. If that isn’t a word, it should be. So wear it with your favorite skinny jeans, but tuck it in so you look put together. Or wear it like me with this A&F denim mini skirt just like middle school you guys. I think you’ll be seeing a lot of this top on me and I think I’m in need of the satin version for sure.
And a little off topic here, today marks exactly one week until I leave for Chicago. Why am I going? Well, it’s the 5th Annual Blog Societies Conference and we’ve decided to move things west a bit to the Windy City. As a co-founder of TBS, I’ll be arriving a day earlier than our blogging members, speakers and brands to make sure everything is in tip top shop before we kick off the big weekend (you can see a peek at last years here). I’m officially panicking though on WTF to wear. I refuse to buy anything new and will be shopping my own closet. I’m thinking this jumper is coming along with me and a WAYF dress you’ve yet to see on the blog. If you’ll be attending, I can’t wait to say HI!
