I know Gap never really went anywhere. But I can’t recall the last time I wanted to walk into that store. Let alone browse online just for fun. But as of this last year, I’m into it.
And let’s be truly honest here. I was never big on Gap. It was always a bit too preppy, or I didn’t love the cut on me. It was just never my store.
Now that I feel as though Gap has had a bit of a resurgence, I have been way more successful at this retailer than I ever thought was possible.
Is GAP Having A Come Back?
Did Gap ever really go away? Or was I just not into it? I’m not really sure. But I feel like I’m seeing more and more of it on my Instagram feed. From other influencers to friends, and now myself, shopping Gap more than I can ever remember in my more than a decade of blogging.

The Perfect Linen Shirt
For me it all started with this lilac linen button-up I got. Summer to me is all about the linen items. And as a lover of all things lilac, it was really the perfect top.
There is also a tunic style linen shirt that is almost identical, but just a little longer and slightly more oversized. I think the tunic style would be great as a beach coverup. But for everyday, and tucking into pants or jeans, I think the classic fit is best.

Linen Pull On Shorts
Noticing a trend here. I’m here for Gap linen! My shorts drawer needed a bit of a revamp recently. As in, I needed shorts that weren’t so short. I was looking to replace my most worn pull-on LOFT shorts. I feel like I lived in these the last few years.
But truth be told, they were SUPER short. And just didn’t feel right anymore. Not sure if it’s old age, or trends, but a longer inseam is more my thing these days when it comes to shorts. These pull-on linen shorts are super comfortable, come in a bunch of colors and have a longer inseam.
Faux Leather Pants
During a major sale this summer, I ended up snagging a pair of faux leather pants. This past fall and winter my most worn pair of pants next to my jeans, were my faux leather pants. I lived in them. So while Gap was doing a major sale, I thought I’d give theirs a try to add to my collection.
And turns out, they were incredible. And incredibly cheap. I can’t wait for fall to come around so I can pull them out. It’ll be nice to have a new silhouette to style than my go-to black faux leather pants.
