Jessica’s Favorite Amazon Things Volume 7
I’ve had a few really good purchases lately from Amazon. From an ear cuff I can’t stop wearing, to my latest beverage addiction. And I am officially on the faux tree train and I am shocked just as much as you are to admit that.
Here are some of my recent Amazon buys that I’m just so glad I invested in recently. Don’t forget, you can browse all my favorite Amazon home purchases here! And as always, you can check out the previous volumes of Jessica’s Amazon Favorite Things here.

Jessica’s Amazon Favorite Things Volume 7
Puffy Ear Cuff
One of my favorite piercings is my conch which was painful as hell. So no I am not adding another hole there to have more jewelry. Instead, I found this really fun puffy ear cuff on Amazon. I love the mix of metals and how easy it is to put on and take off. No need for any new piercings, just a simple cuff! This came in a two pack, but the smaller size was too small for me. I preferred the larger one.
And these are the rectangle ones featured in the above photo. Also a fun earring and they come in silver and gold.
Plant Pot
Plant lady reporting for duty! I love my new fiddle leaf fig I got and she needed a substantial pot to be put in. I love this simple one from Amazon. Due to its size, yes it is pricy. But it makes such a difference to have the appropriate sized pot for your plants in your home. About to buy another one for my faux olive tree.
Plug-in Sconces
I am all in on the plug-in sconce trend. I think they are great for wanting to add sconces to areas that don’t have hard wiring. And if you plan on using your sconces a lot, puck lights just aren’t going to cut it. I love the mid-century vibe of these and that they are on a dimmer.
Faux Olive Tree
I have always been anti faux trees, until now. My NYC living room does not get the adequate light to keep a fiddle leaf fig alive (she has been moved to the office and is much happier). And while I would’ve loved a really massive low light plant to put here, I just didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars on it in hope that it survives. I decided to just try a faux tree and see how it goes.
And honestly, I’m impressed. I bought the 6 fit version of this olive tree. And the first thing I did was cut off the olives, it just looked absolutely ridiculous. I also spent some time fiddling with the stems to bend them and try to make it look more realistic. At the end of the day, it looks pretty decent for a corner that gets no good light.
Lastly, I do think the plant pot it comes in is far too small for the scale of the tree. I am going to be grabbing another plant pot to put it in. Scale with plants and their pots is so important and is usually a really easy swap to make so things look more elevated.

A Fun New Vase
I’ve been in need of a new vase or two in my home to have. Both as decor on my bookcases, but also to hold flowers I may get from Trader Joe’s or the local flower guy on the corner. I love this green metal one, it’s a fun pop of color and I love the shape of it.
And yes, that little rat lamp is also from Amazon. A fun find from my friend @katelynsailor, you can shop it here.
Curtain Rods
I feel like I hear people complain about how expensive window treatments are. And yes, they can be outrageous! But, they can also be insanely affordable. And in my opinion, window treatments is the BEST thing you can do to your home to make it feel more put-together and complete.
I lean on Amazon for most of my window treatments because it’s affordable. These curtain rods are simple, modern and affordable. I got the brass and the black for NYC. I also have them in ATL and just love how simple and clean-looking they are.
And if you’re looking for a simple and affordable curtain to hang, these are a great option. They will instantly make your home feel complete. And there are a few options for how to hang but I am partial to the clips with the ring. I think it’s a more modern look, but the back tab option is also great and doesn’t require any additional purchases.
Spindrift Arnold Palmer
Not usually something I buy at Amazon, but living in NYC has definitely changed my shopping habits. And so now I’m that person who orders these types of food items on Amazon to make my life easier.
And this month was all about the Spindrift flavor, Arnold Palmer. It is my absolute favorite flavor and I go through it like water. It’s addicting! I need to try the pineapple flavor, I think that’s the only one I haven’t had yet.
