My latest list of Amazon things I’m loving is a mix of entertaining essentials as I recently hosted my first brunch in my NYC apartment. I didn’t bring up a ton of stuff when I moved here so I was in need of a few essentials to serve guests. I also did a bit of rearranging in my closet and discovered a fantastic sunglass case. Lastly, replacing my lost silk eyemask. Here are some of my favorite Amazon things I’ve recently purchased.

Paper Towel Holder
With limited counter space in NYC, this paper towel holder has been great. It sticks underneath the cabinet and off the counters.
Murphy Bed
The first review is in on my Murphy Bed after a friend stayed with me a few weeks ago. This Murphy Bed is horizontal so it takes up less vertical space and instead feels kind of like a built in. You can see the office guest bedroom transformation here and the mattress I chose.
New York Paper Cups
Super niche product right here, but when I went to host my brunch last month, I realized I had no coffee cups for guests. I don’t like to use real mugs because well, I don’t have enough for a dozen people, and it’s just more things to clean. These paper cups are the quintessential NYC coffee cups and they make for a fun to-go cup.
Glass Carafe
When I was getting ready to host my brunch a few weeks ago, I was definitely missing a few essentials. A little carafe for orange juice to pour into champagne is an essential for a brunch. I love this glass carafe. It’s also great if you have guests staying over, you can pop this onto their night stand and fill it with water. It comes with a little cup to cover the top too.
Sunglass Case
I had all of my sunglasses in their original cases and in a little organizer. It was nice and tidy, but honestly, I wasn’t reaching for many of them. I had no idea what I had in the cases and was just wearing the same two pairs all the time. I decided to get this sunglass case and it’s been so nice having them all out of their case and easy to access. Plus, this keeps them dust-free.
Wine Glasses
Another essential that my NYC kitchen was missing was wine glasses. I finally ordered these fun ones and love the more modern look of them. They can double as champagne flutes too.
Leopard Pants
I’m not usually one who shops a lot of Amazon fashion unless it’s a brand I already shop and wear. But I really wanted another pair of leopard jeans and have had a hard time finding anything that wasn’t $200. And I didn’t just want to buy a second pair of the same ones from Abercrombie. Saw these for just $50 and figured, let me give them a try just to see. And well, they are kind of amazing. I’m going to get them hemmed to above the ankle, and leave my A&F ones longer.
I went with my larger size (I’m right now kind of in-between 2 sizes) and chose the grey leopard. As you can see they aren’t really grey at all, they just aren’t orange which I like! PS here are some ways to style leopard pants.
Silk Eyemask
Unfortunately, I left my silk eyemask on the plane to Paris. What a total fail. I rarely ever travel with my good eye mask, but I was feeling overly confident in my adulting. Had to rebuy this but it is worth every penny. I went with the navy one since it’s on brand of course.
