One of the things I wouldn’t say I like shopping for, is art. Period. Rugs are probably a close second right behind that too. But I just have never been someone who knows anything about art, or feels super drawn to certain pieces. And honestly, feel a bit overwhelmed looking at all the options.
As someone who doesn’t love having many personal photos in their home, a personal preference, I am always looking for art instead. Sure I have one or two personal photos, but the majority of the frames in my house are either travel photos I’ve taken, or art.
One of my favorite places to shop for art where I don’t actually hate everything, or feel overwhelmed, is Juniper Print Shop. I have been a fan of Juniper Home, Jenna Komenda’s blog and now turned into a print shop, for years. I love her aesthetic so much, but I love Juniper Print Shop for solving that art problem your empty walls may be facing.
Juniper Print Shop – Where To Find Affordable Oversized Art
When shopping for art, you can easily feel overwhelmed with all the choices. And the price tag. Plus, if you’re looking to fill a big empty wall, finding one large oversized piece is a struggle. Especially if you don’t want to spend thousands, an oversized piece of art can really put a dent in your wallet.
While decorating my New York City apartment, I knew I wanted a big piece to fill the space above my bed. The search for art was challenging. I would browse on Etsy, shop around local stores in the city, and browse Instagram artists. While I may have found things I liked, things were always so insanely expensive for the size I needed.
Insert Juniper Print Shop. The destination for affordable art, from 8×10 pieces to oversized art that can fill an entire empty wall. And a beautifully curated collection from over 40 artists.
My Bedroom Art
In the bedroom, I went with this large piece (not even the largest size they have!) in the Mustard Florals. The color worked really well with the Clare painted wall in Current Mood.
The cool part about this piece is that it is one of two. There are a few duo and trio options in the collection making it easy to do a monochromatic collection in a space if you want to take the guesswork out of things. Great for side by side pieces on a wall.
What Is Juniper Print Shop
Juniper Print Shop is an online retailer that offers a variety of art prints at great prices. Jenny Komenda believes that art should be affordable and well-curated.
Who Founded Juniper Print Shop
Jenny Komenda is the founder of Juniper Print Shop and launched the business in 2017. In addition to the print shop, Jenny Komenda also is an interior designer and had an interior design blog featuring her latest projects and helpful design tips.
What Types Of Art Are At Juniper Print Shop
The print shop offers a variety of art styles from abstract to landscape, florals, and photography. There is truly something for every personal style. You can also get your art printed on paper or canvas. And you also have the option for a digital download. I use the digital download option for art on my Frame TV as you can see above.
What Sizes Does Juniper Print Shop Offer
This is my favorite thing about Juniper Print Shop, is the size offering. You can buy anything from 8×10 to 55×79. Oversized art is really their specialty as I have found it so hard to find pieces that were oversized, beautiful and didn’t completely break the bank.
Best Frames For Oversized Art
Juniper Print Shop does offer framing for art up to 30×40, but for anything over that you will need to get framed yourself. While you may think oversized art means an astronomical framing price tag, you’d be mistaken. In fact, the oversized pieces work perfectly with the IKEA Bjorksta frame for the oversized prints (31×47 and larger).
If you’re looking to take the guesswork out of choosing art for your home, look no further than Juniper Print Shop. Get inspired on their blog and browse their curated collection of beautiful pieces. Affordable part, in an affordable frame, can make such a huge impact in how your home looks and feels.
