The first thing I really ever wanted to remodel in my house was my kitchen. It’s been 8 years or so and I’ve done nothing but destroy the cabinets even more. Then the bathroom happened and any renovations went out the window. This spring I hope to finally make a small change to my kitchen by swapping out the granite countertops with ones that are more marble-esque (because let’s be real, real marble in the kitchen is expensive and I’ll destroy that too). Plus, with the very small existing backsplash space I have, adding something fun and creative will make a nice impact while sticking to my budget. I originally thought I wanted to do simple subway tile, mostly because I have some left over from the bathroom and I’m cheap. But after researching for today’s post, I think I fell in love with these more fun options!
