When Kohl’s asked me to make a few home updates for summer, I knew exactly what I wanted to swap out. When I did my bedroom a few months ago I originally wanted to add in blush and pinks to the bedroom to compliment the navy. It’s a color combo I adore and thought it would be perfect. But when Homepolish came over and threw in some mustard pillows I was torn. I loved it. So for summer, I thought it would be fun to swap out a few things thanks to Kohl’s and these blush touches add a soft feminine look to my bedroom.
I instantly went to the Lauren Conrad home section to browse and fell in love with every bedroom set she had. I have to say, I even contemplated swapping out my duvet! I decided to reel myself back in and just selected a new quilt, it’s nice and lightweight and where Pork likes to sleep under, and a few new pillow covers in the matching ruffles. I love the grey and soft blush with the bold navy wall, it works perfectly. To add another summer touch to the room, I grabbed this great candle (which is now on sale!) that not only smells amazing, but matches my bedside vignette perfectly. It’s the perfect, affordable, way to update your bedroom without committing to a whole new look.
