If you’ve never heard of Kosas before, listen up. I’m loving what they’re doing in the beauty industry. Their makeup is all about improving your skin with active ingredients in their formulation. Plus, Kosas focuses on quality ingredients that are good for sensitive skin. Kosas Cosmetics was founded by Sheena Zadeh-Daly back in 2014, she launched with just four lipsticks. And has now expanded the Kosas makeup brand to a full collection of makeup products.
Kosas has everything from skincare and SPF, to skin prep for makeup, and a wide range of makeup products. Some of their best sellers include the Revealer Concealer, the new Glow I.V. Illuminating enhancer, the Tinted Face Oil that I feel like is how I discovered the brand, and their Wet Lip Oil Gloss.
And I think one of their most loved products, and it’s definitely mine right now, is the Kosas Air Brow tinted volumizing treatment. It’s the perfect brow gel to fluff and set your brows. And today I want to share all about it!
Kosas Air Brow Review

Application
Applying this product is so easy. It’s basically foolproof. You just fluff it into your brows and brush them to your desired look.
Payoff
When you need a little bit of volume, and a bit of gel to set your brows, this is the perfect product. Your brows look fuller and fluffier when you apply. And if you use it with a pencil as well, you get a really bold brow!
Wear Test
This product goes on easily and lasts for hours. It has a wearability of 8 hours to hold your fuller-looking brows throughout the day.. It gives off a soft matte finish. The Kosas Air Brow also has a slight shimmer which helps to give your brows a more natural dimension.
How To Use The Kosas Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel
Fluff Brows
I start by fluffing my brows with a spoolie.
Use A Pencil First If You Want
Since I find that this product gives a subtle fullness to my very dark brows, I rely on this to add some color, but mostly for the volume. So I like to first add a bit of pencil where I’m really sparse.
Add Product
Then, add the Kosas Air Brow tinted gel into your brows. I like to fluff it backward into the brows starting at the tail end and working my way into the inner part of my brow. Then, I fluff the brows upwards and into the shape I want.
You can finish with a clear gel on top of this. But I have found that the Kosas Air Brow does a good job of holding my brows in my place and I don’t need this extra step. Should you want to try that, you can see my Anastasia Brow Freeze Styling Wax review and tutorial here.
Kosas Air Brow Before & After
Below you can see a before and after of applying the Kosas Air Brow. I find that it adds a subtle fullness to my already dark brows. It definitely captures some of those lighter hairs to add a slightly thicker look to my brows.
But the thing I notice the most from using this product is the fullness on the tail of my brow. It adds a slightly laminated look to my brows. I find I use less of my brow pencil when I use this product. And I don’t need to use a gel to hold my brows in place.
So for me and my brow routine, I like to use the Kosas Air Brow in conjuction with my iT Cosmetics brow power pencil to fill in a few more sparse parts. Together, it’s a winning combo. But on a lazy day, I love to just rely on the Kosas Air Brow for a simple addition to my look without a ton of work.
Is The Kosas Air Brow Tinted Clean Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Worth It
As you can see above in the before and after, it’s a subtle change for someone with fairly thick dark brows. But this definitely fills in my sparseness in the inner part of my brow. And it allows me to fluff my brows more and make them look a bit fuller and achieve that ever so slightly laminated brow look.
I think this brow gel is a good product for a quick brow fix when you don’t want to deal with a pencil. Or if you want to really go all out and do this with a pencil, you can. I like having this product as part of my makeup products arsenal. While it’s not my everyday brow product, it’s one I do like to use quite often.
And if you have lighter brows and looking for a bit more darkness and fullness, I think the tinted air brow gel would probably allow for a more significant transformation that you’ll really like.
