Are you into leopard print? I feel like if you’re around my age (early 30s, an elder millennial if you will) we all had an animal print we loved when we were in elementary school. For me, I was into zebra print. I had a zebra print mini skirt, my ice skates had a zebra print bag I put them in, all things zebra. Some friends loved leopard print, giraffe print (yes that was SO a thing, remember?). I’ve always loved leopard though, it’s the one print that stayed in my closet over the years. To me, it can truly feel like a neutral.
While browsing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that is now Public Access (hallelujah) I noticed how much damn leopard print there was. This sale is always a really great preview of what’s going to be trending for fall. Cleary leopard is going to be a big hit! Leopard shoes, leopard sweaters, skirts and even this fun leopard hair clip! A few other notable trends from the sale, all things plaid and lots of midi dresses. I’m here for all of that!
I wanted to round up some of my favorite leopard items from the sale that I’m eyeing. From this leopard midi dress that will be great to layer with a chunky black sweater over it, to these leopard booties. Also, this pleated leopard skirt is a great piece for the office but will also be great with white sneakers and a leather jacket. Lastly, I think this leopard cardigan needs a place in my closet. I’m not a big cardigan person but a leopard one is definitely more my speed!
