Happy Monday everyone! I’m in one amazing mood thanks to a great birthday weekend. Which is likely a first I’ve ever had in my adult life. We had the most incredible weather in Atlanta and am convinced it’s historically the warmest birthday I’ve ever had at a whopping 57 degrees. As a January baby, my birthday’s are usually miserably cold. Plus, since I lived in the Northeast for my childhood, it usually meant snow. Then the Pacific Northwest for my teenage years, which usually meant gloom and rain. But thanks to living in the South and crazy mother nature, this weekend was glorious. I had a few friends over Saturday for game night. Forced them all to play Telestrations – After Dark with me and it was so fun. Must have more game nights.
This weather had me thinking though. It’s most definitely way too warm now for my go to down coat, and even my just basic winter coat is far too hot. This in between weather is always a struggle but I have found the perfect solution. This lightweight herringbone topcoat is the perfect weight and helps to solve that in between coat problem I’m currently finding myself in. It also comes in black and grey and this topcoat is also super cute. I think the key is finding something that’s nice and thin and can go with a lot of your closet to help cure this warm winter weather coat dilemma. I’ve also rounded up a few more lightweight options that will help transition you from winter to spring in style.
