Okay, okay, lilac and plaid isn’t a COLOR combination. But let’s just pretend it is. It’s definitely an option to pair together and I’m all for it. Lilac was my go-to color in the spring and summer. A new color for me honestly. I fell in love with it and have been adding so much of it to my closet. For fall and winter, it’s still a great pastel to wear in the right fabric. This cashmere waffle sweater from Everlane is a closet favorite and I just love it paired with grey plaid.
You’ve seen me wear this waffle sweater and this blazer SO many times. For good reason, of course, they’re such great closet staples to have. I was surprised to see how often I wore a lilac sweater but oh you just wait! I’ve got another outfit coming soon with this piece and you won’t believe the color I paired with it. Hint, it may be my favorite color for the season.
