With Labor Day this weekend, it officially marks the end of summer. Since we are in the south, we’ll still get at least another month or so of warm weather to enjoy. And honestly, sweat it out too. So I’m embracing easy dresses like this lilac midi dress and my favorite summer accessories like my latest hat addition. You saw me style this lilac midi dress here with a suede jacket which was great for cooler nights (which we’re finally having, praise be!). But for casual weekend fun, this is how I’m wearing it. Since we’ve got a long weekend, I’ve got several fun plans. Heading out to Inman Park this Saturday for brunch at Superica and then we’ll walk around in search of cocktails. And Sunday my friends and I are going to a beer and music festival with Quiet Hounds. It’s been a while since the whole gang has gotten together so I’m excited to see everyone. Between friends getting married, summer vacations and just life in general, it’s been a while since we’ve all been in one room to just have a good time!
I think I’ll be wearing this lilac midi dress over the weekend as it’s the perfect effortless look that still feels elevated. Adding the belt, hat and fun bag (I’ll put my stuff in it this time) is exactly how I like to dress on a weekend.
