I feel like every time I wear any Lilly Pulitzer on the blog, I start it out with “I’m not really a Lilly fan but I love this piece”. Well I think I’ve said it enough times that it’s safe to say I’m pretty much a fan (of certain things). Let’s not get crazy here. I didn’t grow up in the south, but yes I’ve been living here for a while now, I wasn’t in a sorority, and I’m definitely not your typical sweet southern type. The things I keep finding myself gravitating towards at Lilly Pulitzer are their shorts over and over again. I’ve worn these blue ones on the blog, I just got the same ones in neon coral and also grabbed these laser cut ones that I can’t wait to wear. I’m also a big fan of their silk camisoles which I have several colors and wear often with just jeans and a blazer. They’re seriously great basics and come in awesome colors (and prints if you like).
So here I am in a not so typical Jessica version of Lilly Pulitzer while in The Outerbanks and I love that it’s a romper/dress combo. Which means, gusts of beachy winds mean that you don’t see my tush. Which is a plus. Paired with my white espadrille sandals and a big straw tote, this was the perfect look for hitting the beach in.
And don’t forget to check out this post from our day in Duck at The Outerbanks!
