Trying to find more non denim shorts this summer has kind of been a fun challenge. I’m just ever so guilty of always wearing denim. While in San Francisco I had a couple hours before my flight and decided on my walk home from breakfast with Josh, to pop into Nordstrom. I’m not usually one to shop for clothing while I travel, but a 6 story Nordstrom? I had to see it. Plus, there was also an Aritizia which I thought I loved (loved everything but nothing fit right sadly). I ended up finding these cute striped linen shorts and they’re under $50. Such a nice departure from go to denim.
The thing I love about these shorts is that they force you to tuck your shirt in. Something I don’t do often enough and always makes your look feel more put together. Pairing the neutral white and tan with a bold pop of red and an oversized denim jacket (I mean I had to add denim SOMEWHERE) created the perfect color palette if you ask me.
