Every so often I find myself in a bit of a uniform. Reaching for a lot of the same things over and over again. Whether they are paired together always or switched up ever so slightly. These are the hero items I find myself wanting to wear over and over. And I always wonder, does that make me lame that I just love the same pieces and keep wearing them? Or does it mean I just have a look that I’m sticking to? Kind of like a brand identity?
Relaxed Blazer With Loafers + Closet Favorites As Of Late
When I spent a month in Paris, this outfit was one of my go-to’s. And once I got back, it stuck. I have been wearing some variation of this on heavy rotation. It’s no surprise though. I would say I’m a denim and blazer kind of gal. You see me in this a lot. But often I feel like I dress up a tad more here on the blog and you see a lot more one-off outfits, and not so much my everyday uniform. Something I’m actually trying to do more of. Less of the try-hard outfits, more of the everyday casual ones. Even if they’re not as exciting. But let’s be real, this one is a hyper-fixation outfit. Can’t stop, won’t stop. These pieces have been on heavy rotation. Let’s chat about them.
Relaxed Blazer
This has become a true closet staple for me. I love to pair this Madewell relaxed slightly oversized blazer with all the things. All my straight-leg jeans, faux leather leggings, and even my faux leather shorts. I also grabbed it in black, but honestly, only ever reach for this brown version.
The Loafer
These are the MVP of my fall wardrobe. I had been wanting a pair of chunky loafers for a couple of years. Had a pair from ages ago but they were so uncomfortable that I never wore them. So these were my splurge for fall 2022 and I just adore them. And yes, they’re Coach, can you believe it?
The Best Tee
I’ve been hyper-fixated on one type of tee lately. And it’s the sweetheart or square neckline tee. I have a couple from Reformation and from Madewell. They feel like an elevated basic tee and not just a basic boring cotton one. I love the open neckline too, feels more flattering to me and shows off all my favorite gold jewelry.
My Shearling Bag
While in Paris, I did quite a bit of damage at Sezane. The prices are so much more affordable so I feel like that was a good excuse. I ended up picking up a couple of new bags. I had been eyeing their bucket bag, which I also love and wear a ton. But it’s this shearling bag that I was influenced to buy thanks to my blog friend, Charmed by Camille. Since it’s such a unique and trendy bag, I mean, it’s shearling! Surprisingly, I have been wearing this the most out of all my bags. It’s a perfect size. It also comes in all leather and suede options if you want something more classic.
