You may have seen this same look a few weeks ago at our Hallmark Signature farewell brunch at SBScon. I loved this shirt so much (and honestly got SO many compliments on it) that I bought it in two more colors and didn’t feel guilty at all about it. I wore the striped version Monday night to head to dinner with the girls from L.Mae Boutique at Serpas. Always nice to meet brands face to face for a little dinner and drinks.
Although it’s just a button down and kind of boring when you think about it, the unexpected hemline and shape make it a little more interesting and has me all about a button down right now. I’d like to think this may be my new uniform for cooler nights and I don’t hate it. With the added heels, clutch and some pretty jewelry, this simple look gets dressed up in a pinch perfect for summer date nights.
PS How great does my hair look? It was perfectly straight before I stepped outside and then BAM, humidity happened. So sad. If you have any awesome humidity fighting tips, please let me know!
