Can we talk about my fun little manicure here? I’ve been wanting to try some nail art for a while and when I saw my girlfriend Hailey with an eye on her nails I demanded to know where she got it done at. I’m very anti nail salons (I just despise being in there, seems like the biggest waste of my day) and always paint my own nails at home. But I headed to Hammond Nails in Brookhaven to get a mani pedi a few weeks ago and had them replicate my friends “eye”. I was so obsessed with it and got so many compliments. I think I’ll be heading back next week to get it again before #TBScon.
Guys this has been one busy week! Between getting ready for #TBScon next week (it’s officially in ONE WEEK) to dentist appointments, workouts and lots of dinner dates with friends, Friday can’t come soon enough. I’m still trying to figure out WTF I am going to pack for next week’s trip. But I just have one rule this time, I ain’t buying SHIT. I’ll be shopping my own closet and also plan to be a lot more casual at this years #TBScon. The days are long and I always regret the heels.
Madewell Striped Mini Skirt
This little outfit basically embodies all of my favorite things lately. First, all things Madewell (duh), my Steve Madden lace up wedges that I feel like I need to rebuy. I say that because these have been through hell and back and I don’t know how on earth they’re still in one piece. And my go to denim jacket. A summer classic. See? All my favorites, how can you not love this outfit then, right? And a fun fact about this skirt, I actually returned it thinking I wouldn’t really wear it. Then while browsing in Madewell I saw how they styled it and then went back and re-bought it. So basically, I have to wear it every day now.
Speaking of Madewell, I just picked up this head to toe look from the Nordstrom sale as well as some gold hoops that I can’t stop wearing. Still thinking about snagging this tote, thoughts?
