One of the highlights of Coachella was getting to attend the POPSUGAR party at the gorgeous Avalon Hotel. The event was packed with beautiful people, brands that I love, good drinks and solid fun. I was so happy my friends were able to join me for the event and I could show them what #bloglife looks like. They were a little pissed though when I told them AFTER the fact that we didn’t stay long enough to see Jhené Aiko perform. Whoops! PS you can see what I wore to the event here.
While at the event, we snapped tons of photos at the Walgreens Photo Airstream. It was really the only time we got a good group shot of us for the whole week we were there so I was thankful they all came down to party with me. I also popped in the photo booth with new blog friend The Darling Niki and my Atlanta pal, Coco of Millennielle.
When I came home, I knew I wanted to take some of these pics and actually print them out to #sharelifeshappy in frames around my house. You know, like we did back in the 90s? When we waited to see what the photos looked like after dropping them off, paying a few bucks and then going back to pick them up a few days later? Yeah that sort of thing. I ended up taking some fun photos that I knew I wanted to put on my new gallery wall and also frame for my bookshelf. I love adding personal photos of friends or places I’ve been to add a little bit of character to my home. I went online to Walgreens Photo and uploaded my favorite pics and had them ready in about an hour at my local Walgreens. It was so fun to get to sort through some of my favorite photos in my hand versus on Instagram.
I think I’ll definitely be heading back to Coachella next year. It was such a blast and it was so fun to get to attend parties and also see some of my favorite bands and DJs in person. Stay tuned for more Coachella posts to come from outfits to a full recap!
