I recently rocked a bold vampy merlot colored lip and was kind of hesitant when I first put it on. You see, I thought I had my go to hot pink or at least red lip in my bag. I didn’t. The only random lipstick I had was for some reason this Dolce & Gabanna super dark wine colored lip. I said fuck it, and threw it on. Then realized it was genius. This may be my new beauty obsession for Fall. The bold color is daring and sexy and also is a great transition from my usual (now) boring red. If you do choose to go bold and dark, be sure to make everything else very neutral. A neutral eye, maybe just some mascara, and don’t go too heavy on the liner either. You’ll be seeing a lot more of this color on the blog in the coming weeks as I transition my beauty routine for Fall.
