I have never claimed to be a fan of pink, ever. I think I own two hot pink tops and up until this past year, haven’t owned a single shade outside of that. While in Miami last week, I noticed something though. I was wearing pink sneakers, a pink tee, while pulling a pink suitcase. Oh, and then I got chilly, so I grabbed my long sleeve out of my suitcase to throw on. It too was also pink. Now let me say one thing, it was all this millennial pink shade. This light pink, blush, nude color. It’s soft and feminine, yet such a neutral it feels like white to me. Basically, a millennial pink outfit is my new favorite thing ever.
So my question is, do I now like pink? Can I claim to dislike pink since I pretty much don’t like any shade but this one? Those two hot pink tops in my closet rarely get worn and when they do it feels like such a huge deal to me to throw on such a color. This color has become such a favorite that I painted my living room accent wall this color. But again, it felt like a neutral. Where does one draw the line on admitting to love pink? Because guys, I think I fucking love pink. And as hard as that is to admit, I think I may be okay with it.
If you want to get on the millennial pink bandwagon, I rounded up a few of my favorites from Madewell below. From rain coats, to dresses to lingerie, you can find this shade of pink in just about anything now like here! Too far? I don’t think so.
