I’m feeling a major shift in fashion these days. The swap of denim for trousers. It’s happening everywhere. And whether you wear trousers to work, or just want to switch things up in your own wardrobe, now’s the time to do it. There are so many great trouser options and the MM LaFleur Curie Pant is in my opinion, the perfect skinny trouser to swap out with your skinny jeans. An instant swap that makes your blazers, sweaters and jackets feel more elevated and ready for the office.
MM LaFleur Curie Pant Review
Let’s kick this off with a quick review of the Curie pant from MM LaFleur. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they are best known for elevated basics that make sense for the working woman. I feel like they embody everything I believe when it comes to choosing clothes. It should make you feel good, function well in your closet, and be comfortable. Things are well made and with great fabrics. The Curie pant is the perfect skinny that you can very easily dress up for the office, or down for errands.
This pant is super comfortable and comes in tons of colors. It also comes in two inseam lengths. I went for the short inseam (26.5 inches) because I am 5’5″ and have shorter legs. They recommend anyone 5’4″ and under should go for the short. But I think you should note if you have a long torso or not because you could very easily get away with the short if you’re a few inches above that cut-off. I also went with my usual pant size and found them to be a good fit. They were a tad snug, but after wearing them around, I felt comfortable in them. The next size up was way too big.
My favorite detail on these pants are the zipper in the ankle. I just think it adds a little something to the pant and makes them a little more edgy or different. Easily zip it back up for a more streamlined buttoned-up look. But I really loved them opened up a bit.
You can shop the M.M. LaFleur Curie Pant at their online store, or it’s also available at Nordstrom and Zappos. I think buying directly though has way more color options and sizes though.

3 Ways To Style The M.M. LaFleur Curie Pant
For Casual Work Days
Just pair these slim pants with a good oversized sweater for an easy outfit. For a more casual take, I opted for a loafer to give it a bit of style that feels more casual and edgy than a pump. A classic pump would make this feel much more dressed up so I really liked the addition of a chunky edgy loafer. I also love the mix of blues here. The navy pants, the baby blue sweater and navy patent shoes. This monochromatic look is an easy effortless outfit for the office.
To The Office
This is definitely how I’d style this if I had to head back into the office. Paired with a blazer, nude pump and a ribbed top that feels a little more elevated than a basic tee. This top is a bit on the more casual side, but it’s a beautiful fabric and has a nice scoop neckline. It’s nice enough I think to wear to the office and is made out of Pima cotton. Which is, by the way, HEAVEN. This long sleeve is so soft and beautiful, I want them in every color and style they come in. If you’re in a more formal environment, I’d swap the long sleeve for a blouse or a shell top of some sort. PS if you want to take $50 off these pumps, which are insanely comfortable, read my full review of them here.
Dressed Down With Sneakers
This is my casual Friday, your office allows sneakers, or you just want to dress down some work pants, outfit. Swap those heels for a sleek white sneaker. A Veja is my go-to for that. They have clean lines and no crazy embellishments. A cream houndstooth blazer completes the look. This is a perfect spring casual Friday look for the office that I just love.
