There are quite a few things that I’ve had the opportunity to witness thanks to traveling that always wow me. You’d think these little ol white windmills wouldn’t be one of them, but it’s just the opposite. When you drive into Palm Springs, you finally get off the highway and onto your final road into the mid-century city. Through the windy roads you see the gorgeous rolling hills and mountains. This desert is truly just a sight to see. But then as you get closer to Palm Springs you start to see huge pockets of flat land full of these white windmills. Depending on the wind (because it’s WINDY, obviously) they are going round and round super fast. It’s wild to see them as far as your eye can see.
While snapping these pics though, we saw a jack rabbit running through the field. He was SO fast. It was crazy. You don’t see a whole lot of animals out in the desert, so it was super neat to see this cute guy hopping along on his way.
PS the last time I wore an off the shoulder dress in DC. So not my go to style, but love these two dresses!
