I’ve always been a fan of a good graphic tee. As someone who loves a good tee in general with jeans, it’s nice to have ones that have a little something special on them. I mean, I love basic tees so much I did an entire blog post on my favorite brands here. But to spruce up my everyday white tee, I like to upgrade to a cool concert tee.
Here’s my one complaint though. Why are all the cool concert tees of bands and tours from the 60s, 70s and 80s? Where are the NKOTB tees, or the Backstreet Boys or Christina Aguilera ones? I’d totally rock one of those! And isn’t it about that time that we’re old enough that this stuff comes BACK? Just sitting here waiting for one of these brands to come out with some 90s quintessential bands and singers in the cool relaxed concert tee category. You feel me?
Where To Shop For Concert Tees
Whether you want a relaxed fit that can easily be tucked into jeans or skirts, or a more fitted style, there are tons of options. You can choose your favorite band to represent. Or even a concert tour. So many great options!
Fashion Retailers
I love to check out Urban Outfitters for super affordable ones. Also, I discovered the brand Daydreamer which is what I’m wearing today. There are TONS of options at Revolve too. I’m eyeing this one next. The quality is nicer than that of Urban Outfitters but is a bit more pricey. ASOS also has a few as well at a great price point, loving this one.
Another favorite place to shop for concert tees is Abercrombie. They may be some of my favorites in my closet and have a few like Queen, Run DMC and even Britney Spears! I end up wearing them to bed the most they’re that soft. I even check the men’s section for a more oversized fit. You can check out my Abercrombie & Fitch sizing guide here.
Target is another spot to grab vintage inspired band tees at a really reasonable price. This TRL one is a cute one I styled before. When shopping at Target, be sure to check size and fit. Their juniors section is definitely more fitted and I’d size up at least two sizes for a more oversized fit.
Thrift Stores And Vintage Stores
I love to check out Red Vintage Co on Instagram for their vintage graphic tees. You can check out your local thrift stores and vintage stores to see what they may have too. But this definitely requires a bit of patience and digging.
Thrifted Threads is also full of great vintage music and concert graphic tees. They’re fairly reasonably priced too. In addition to concert tees, they also have lots of other vintage pieces to shop like movies and more.
Official Licensed Merchandise Retailers
When all else fails, you can always check out officially licensed retailers. This is like heading to TaylorSwift.com and just clicking on merch. Pretty much every major artist will have a merch section full of pieces you can shop.
