Sling-back shoes are one of those things I feel like you either love them, or you hate them. They seem to be a polarizing trend in the fashion world. I’m not sure why people hate them though. So enlighten me with all your hateful opinions in the comment section below because I love them. I am truly curious as to why people are so opposed to them. For me, I think they have a bit of a more interesting look to them than a classic pump. Plus, it shows off more skin making these a better option in my opinion for a spring shoe. I would choose a sling-back pump any day over a regular one once it warms up.
These Louise et Cie heels have been on repeat over the last year on An Indigo Day. I get asked every single time I show them in an outfit where the shoes are from. Without fail. And every time, I have to sadly inform you all that they are old and sold out. But not to worry. Because today’s post is all about my favorite sling-backs so you can recreate these looks and find yourself a similar pair.
My Favorite Sling Back Shoes For Spring
There are so many types of slingback shoes to choose from. You can do a slingback pump, a slingback sandal. You name it, there’s an option. But I think a slingback pump or a sandal are my personal favorites. A slingback pack is perfect for wearing to the office in warmer months. But I also love them with my cropped denim to show them off. For spring, you can go classic in neutrals like I have here in my brown croc print, but I am also loving the idea of a pop of color. This spring I am craving pastels. Below are a few great options from classic colors, leopard prints and even fun pastels and color to brighten your wardrobe.

The other slingback spring shoe style is the slingback sandal. So many options to choose from whether you want to go with a flat, a high heel, something classic or more fun and interesting. These are definitely more fun for every day, vacation or date night. A little something more fun than a pointy-toed slingback pump that’s for sure!
