This is one of my favorite posts to write each year. Little fun fact, I actually keep it drafted as I add to it throughout the year.
There’s honestly nothing more satisfying than buying something and realizing it was a SMART purchase so you have to make sure you add it to the list. From my beloved Kindle that I can’t believe I ever lived without, to the air purifier I also thought was a stupid product until I owned it. And of course, some great beauty and fashion buys.
It’s no secret my Sezane bag has been my most worn item, and it still looks brand new. And all my great sneakers I invested in knowing damn well I’d be living in NYC by the end of 2023. Glad I invested in pairs I knew I’d love and wear to death.
Just in time for last minute holiday shopping, here are my top products from 2023.
You can read previous recaps from 2020, 2021 and 2022.
My Top Products From 2023
Kindle Paperwhite
I will sing the praises of this product until the day I die. I was finally reluctantly convinced to buy it and I have since regretted not doing it sooner. I read way more books thanks to this and it being connected to the Libby app.
Trust me, I was a “I like the feel of a book” person. And now I think holding a book is the most annoying thing on the planet.

Global Knife Serrated Knife
You know how your crappy knife block from college has a big serrated knife and it is the absolute worst? Well, I just thought all serrated knives were kind of useless. Until I got a Global Knife one.
You know this is my go-to knife brand and once I got the serrated knife, I will never cut a tomato again without it. Slices through bread like butter too.

Coco & Eve Tanning Mist
While I was a tanning drop girl for years, I think the Coco & Eve tanning mist is superior. It’s more foolproof in my opinion. I also love the body tanning mousse too.

Dermalogica Retinol
This is a retinol I received to review and I think it’s quite good. It’s pricy, but a little is all you need a few nights a week. See reduced lines and smoother skin in just a few weeks.

Fruit Fly Trapper
The absolute most satisfying purchase in this list. If you have fruit flies or fungus gnats, you need this. Bugs get stuck to the back and your fly problem is gone!

The Best Socks
While I thought last year was the year of the socks, 2023 was even more so! I added these full-coverage yet no show socks to the mix and they are a must for all your sneakers. And then these ruffle hem ones from Target were a favorite and one of my most worn products from 2023.
Mandoline
I never thought I’d love a single use kitchen tool more. Insert the mandoline. I love using this to thinly slice cucumbers or cabbage. It’s a total game changer. Be sure to get this glove too so you don’t lose a finger.

Dagne Dover Travel Bags
The Ace fanny pack is what truly turned me into a Dagne Dover fan. But I now have their Landon weekender bag and Dakota backpack. They are smart travel bags that look beautiful with their neoprene fabric and beautiful color options.

Sezane Claude Bag
I always have been a fan of Sezane bags, but the Claude took the obsession to a whole new level. And the color of this dusty blue bag has me wearing it with everything since it truly feels like a neutral.

Frame Denim
I am a Madewell girlie through and through, but things may be changing. I got the Le Jane Ankle and wide leg this year and they are truly the best jeans ever. Super comfortable, and get better with each wear.

New Sneakers
Since I spent several months in NYC this year, I knew sneakers were going to be a must have for my wardrobe. I invested in a few that ended up being absolute favorites in my wardrobe. From the New Balance 9060s that are a true dad sneaker, to my Adidas platform Gazelles and New Balance 550s. A reminder to invest in the things you wear the most.

Silver Heels
Who knew I would be obsessed with silver accessories, but here we are! I am shocked how much I reach for my silver heels, loafers and crossbody bag. All are favorite pieces I reach for when I want a little something fun to wear.

Levoit Air Purifier
I didn’t think I needed one of these. But I got sick and tired of cooking in my apartment and smelling the food for two days. So many people suggested investing in an air purifier. Finally I caved. And now I love walking into my home after being gone for WEEKS and it smells fresh and not like stagnant air. Such a difference!
This was one of my favorite top products from 2023 that as soon as I got to NYC, I had to buy one for the new apartment.

The Gap Sweatsuit
Upping my loungewear game was needed this year. My Lou & Grey lounge sets are a bit too light for colder days. The Gap sweatsuit has been a favorite and I now own it in three colors.
You can see some of my favorite buys from 2023 in this look too. Gap sweatsuit, New Balance 9060s and of course, my beloved dusty blue Sezane bag.

OXO POP Containers
With a tiny pantry in both apartments, I really needed to streamline some of my things. I finally got some of these POP lid containers. Said goodbye to giant tubs of protein powder and oatmeal, and now these keep everything nice and organized while saving me tons of space.
AirPods Pro
I had my old AirPods for so damn long that I got them refurbished! I don’t know why I was so against just buying the new version. I decided to splurge during Prime Day this year and I can’t believe I ever had to listen to music any other way. It’s such a better experience on planes and walking around noisy NYC.
And hot tip (maybe people know this but I didn’t), there are different size options for the AirPods in the package. Out of the box, they were falling out of my ears. I thought I had to return them until my friend told me you can change them out. Brilliant! Now they fit perfectly. These are one of my top products from 2023 that I can’t stop wearing.
