Move Over Black Sequins, Make Room For My Favorite Color!

Get ready for some New Years Eve outfit ideas this week! I’ll likely be staying in this year with a few friends, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be sprucing up my outfit just a touch! I’ve never been one for heading to a fancy bar or overpriced dinner on this holiday. I BEG my friends to stay in and avoid that kind of scene as much as possible. However, even if you’re having a few friends over, or if my friends DO get my butt out to a bar, I still want to feel like myself. That usually means jeans, a great top and jacket paired with a bold lip.

This outfit recipe is my go to way to get dressed up and it’s a no brainer! When I saw this navy sequined tank I knew I had to have it. I’m not usually one for sequins (although I have a SECOND look coming this week with more sequins) when it’s done in navy, I’m all for it!  I think the way this feels more effortless to me and everyday is by pairing it down with jeans and just a solid blazer. You could go much more fancy here with navy silky pants and a sateen blazer. But for me, this combo feels much more me.
