White jeans are always tricky. I find them to be the most challenging jeans to buy. You want them to be flattering, not sheer and of course comfortable. But white denim is complicated. If it’s too thin, it can be sheer or show off imperfections. If the weight of the fabric is too heavy, they aren’t really comfortable for hot spring and summer days. And with all the denim trends to try, there are so many silhouettes to choose from. Narrowing it all down just isn’t easy. But I think I found my ideal pair of white jeans for spring and summer.
My New White Jeans For Summer
Lately, I’ve been having quite a bit of success at Pistola Denim. The last year or two I have added several pairs of pants, denim, jumpsuits and even a jacket to my wardrobe. And the latest addition that is going to be my summer white jean go-tos are of course, Pistola.
I went with the Charlie high rise straight fit. These are slightly relaxed but not too relaxed. They remind me a bit of my Madewell vintage jeans that I love to death. The raw hem at the bottom is simply perfection. I’m also very into the high rise, at 11 inches, it’s just comfortable and flattering. Great for tucking in tees and tanks or pairing with a bodysuit. I went with my usual size in Pistola which is typically a 28. I’m in-between 27 and 28 and I think the 28 was more comfortable.
These Pistola Denim Charlie jeans are 100% cotton, so I am curious how they’re going to wear over time. Cotton takes some time to mold to your body. Plus, since there’s no stretch in them, they don’t bounce back. I actually don’t own any 100% cotton denim so this will be a good test to see how I like them. Typically I despise that because the second I put them on they tend to feel so stiff and just doesn’t fit right. But these felt pretty good the moment I slipped them on. A win! I’m into them. And they’re so easy to style.

How I’m Styling White Jeans For Spring
I’m having a major lilac moment. I have this blazer from years ago but honestly, it’s a bit of a heavier fabric so I am still searching for the perfect lightweight lilac blazer for spring and summer. Pairing lilac with white is a no-brainer for spring. They’re meant for each other. I feel like lilac is like a neutral which is nice. I then added this old favorite Reformation tank to round out the look. I’m into the more fitted top with the more relaxed denim vibe. It just works and balances it well.
I’ll be styling these a lot this season and am excited to simply pair them with some brown leather sandals and a basic tank or tee. But would also be cute with some sneakers and a graphic tee. I think white denim is super versatile and there are absolutely no rules anymore for keeping them stored until Memorial Day.
