The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now PUBLIC ACCESS! If you don’t have a Nordstrom card, you know today’s a big day to get to shopping. The #NSALE is always a favorite time to snag new pieces for the upcoming season. Plus, really great closet essentials (SPANX, bras, workwear and so on). But the one thing that Nordstrom has done a lot more of in recent years, is adding more ready to wear items for the current season. This used to never happen years ago. It was solely sweaters, jackets and the like.
But the sale has definitely evolved in the last few years. I mean now you have to have a card to shop early, there are the pre-sale PRE-shopping days now and more. The fact that there are lots of summery items that you can wear now and transition into the next season though is my new favorite thing about the #NSALE.
Today’s outfit is just that. This floral midi slip dress is the perfect piece to wear now and also bring into the next season. Wear it for summer with sandals and throw on a denim jacket at night when it cools off. For fall, pair it with booties (loving these in black suede) and a leather jacket. Any of these jackets would work and they’re on sale!
You can also totally add a chunky sweater over it and treat it like a midi skirt. The outfit options are kind of endless! I also picked it up in the leopard which is sadly sold out (hoping for a restock!). I did a size small and it fits pretty great. I’ll say it’s a tad snug in the bust area, but other than that it’s very comfortable.
Rounding up some of my favorites to wear right now from the big sale. From easy eyelet blouses, pretty little summer dresses and even great sandals. Hurry and shop these pieces before they sell out or prices go back up on August 5th.
