There’s something you haven’t seen me wear a ton of on the blog. It’s a super popular fashion trend that transcends every season. How I don’t know, but it does. It’s the off the shoulder. Or OTS for those who are cool enough (I suppose…). I’m not super sold on it for myself. I’ve got slightly broader shoulders and have always felt that it wasn’t insanely flattering on me. It’s why you’ve only see me wear it a handful of times on the blog. Like this white dress, and this blush top. But I tried this top from the line, Bardot (remember this post?) and actually really liked it. So much that I also ended up buying this dress as a possible dress to wear to a wedding.
Are you into this trend? I feel like it’s a style you see every season lately. There’s off the shoulder sweaters (which I’ll never understand, like aren’t you cold?) and off the shoulder tees, to black tie dresses. They’re everywhere! Off the shoulder can be a tricky piece but I think finding something that has a flattering silhouette is a great way to ensure it’ll look great even if you do have broader shoulders.
