A few weeks ago I headed to Boston for a little long weekend. The weather was cool, and crisp. Just like fall. So much so that our hotel had the heat on. GASP. I know! The change of season is upon us, friends!
One thing that always happens to my skin when I travel is it goes a little crazy. From the second I step onto the plane until I get back home and into my routine again. My hands get dry, my skin goes from oily to combination with dry spots. I’ve used Olay in the past (you may remember this post) but I never actually packed it in my toiletry bag! I decided to put this ultra-hydrating cream to the test on my latest trip and today I’m sharing my thoughts!
Olay Regenerist Moisturizer Review
For this trip, I decided to bring BOTH options. The Olay Regenerist Whip with SPF 25 and the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. And let me tell you why. First up, I love SPF and you should too. The Olay Regenerist Whip has SPF 25 in it, also has a matte finish that this oily gal loves. AND, it can double as a makeup primer. This was my morning moisturizer before heading out the door. If you are NOT using SPF, start now friend. It is so important and truly is the first step to anti-aging and protecting your skin. This product is ideal if you’re oily like me. It’s light and breathable which I love as well. Nothing worse than a heavy moisturizer before putting on your makeup.
For night time, I brought the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. This product is definitely for more normal to drier skin types. I brought this for night time since while I travel, my skin tends to get drier than I’m used to. So this rich nourishing moisturizer was like a great night cream for me. After a day of playing tourist and being in the sun and definitely not drinking enough water, the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream was a great solution to put on at night after I washed the day away.
Both products have Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) which helps to regenerate surface cells and strengthens the skins moisture barrier. Each Olay Red Jar has as much B3 as 2,500 cups of KALE! They also both have Amino-Peptide Complex II which helps to improve skin elasticity, smooths and firms. Olay Red Jar is better than 131 products across 12 different countries so no need to hunt for something ridiculously expensive or crazy, just give one of these a whirl!
