Last fall and winter I really got into mustard and oranges. It’s part of the reason I think this pretty brass color showed up in my new logo and brand colors. I just love it so much.
Now that summer is here, I’m finding myself crushing on oranges and mustards that much more. They pair perfectly with tan legs and natural textures.
Orange Maxi Dress Ideas
While planning out some outfit ideas for my summer vacations, I knew I wanted to grab lots of easy dresses. I headed to & Other Stories, an online retailer that’s great for finding fashion-forward pieces at a decent price. I stumbled onto this pretty ruffle maxi dress with pretty little tie detail on the shoulder.
It’s now on sale for only $41, such a steal! I recommend sizing up in this brand if you’re in between sizes at all.
Pairing orange with tan leather is always a good idea. I popped on these Madewell lace up sandals that were a favorite last summer and this fun Forever21 belt. I’m not a big Forever21 shopper, but sometimes they’re great for super cheap trendy things. And this belt is just that!
Orange dresses are really such a fun piece to wear for summer. They look great against a tan and work with all your brown and tan accessories. You can even play with color and pair it with pinks or cobalt blues.
Accessories To Pair With Orange Maxi Dresses
To style your orange maxi dresses try straw bags to add texture. Or even espadrilles. I love adding a woven belt to this color as it’s all in the same family.
If you need a light layer an off white cardigan or denim jacket would be a great addition to throw over your shoulders.
And don’t forget cute sunglasses to complete the look. Summer outfits just feel more complete once you throw on stylish sunnies.
What summer color have you been crushing on?
