Anthropologie Top (now on sale!) | Joe’s Jeans | Steve Madden Shoes | Vera Bradley Clutch | BaubleBar Earrings c/o | RayBan Sunglasses | Nixon Watch
Maybe I’m a changed woman, or the fact that I’ve learned that red is so my color, but this is the most festive I’ve ever felt about Valentine’s Day, ever. This week you got not one, not two, but three Valentine’s Day inspired posts. Here’s how I’d REALLY dress for this stupid holiday if I had a real date (no offense to my #bloggersdofolly group who I’m doing dinner with Sunday). Simple pieces with a nod to the holiday of love with pinks and reds in the perfect outfit. Not too obnoxious or obvious, color blocking these two hues for a festive look is honestly the perfect way to go in my opinion.
Total side note, you have to grab this top from Anthropologie. I scooped it up on New Years Day when my girlfriend and I did a little sale damage. I of course found the one thing that was not on sale, but good news, it’s now half off! My luck, it’s too late for a price adjustment and I of course JUST took the tags off before realizing that. It fits like a dream, is super flattering and makes for a great night out top. I rarely do well at Anthropologie when it comes to clothing (home decor is another story, I have no problem dropping $ there) so I was super excited when I found this piece. It’ll be getting lots of use this summer with some short shorts and wedges!
