One of the greatest parts of the seasons changing is getting to rediscover old favorites. Especially for me and my small space, I tend to store off season items under my bed or in another closet. So when I do my usual swap every season it’s always fun. It almost as satisfying as buying new things. Almost. But when I went to grab a coat the other day I remembered this blush pink swing coat I picked up last year. I was so excited to throw it on. It’s truly such a fun piece to wear and I always get a few compliments on it.
Another thing I noticed this season that’s a first for me, is my abundance of sweaters! I was never a sweater person. They always felt so bulky on me and I never found them all that flattering. That changed when I discovered Madewell’s sweaters and Garnet Hill’s. This pretty black cowl neck I’m wearing is from Garnet Hill and it’s so nice and thing and doesn’t make me feel bulky at all. I also grabbed it in blush. It’s beyond soft. My problem now though is that I’m officially out of space in my closet. I went from 3 sweaters last season to easily over a dozen now. My closet is tiny and I’m trying to figure out what needs to be purged to make room for these great little sweaters.
