Well it’s safe to say my plaid addiction continues. I’ve now added this green and navy L.Mae Boutique one to my growing collection and I don’t hate it one bit! It’s definitely a great alternative to my go to t-shirts that can be too casual at times. Tuck them into leather skirts like I did today, or pair with jeans and sneakers for a casual look. It’s really a great piece to dress up or down, untucked or not, tied around your waist or whatever you like. I think I’ll be wearing this one next around my waist like I did with my B&W buffalo plaid one. It’s such an easy way to pull a tee and jeans look together.

I absolutely love pairing leopard with other prints. Treating leopard as a neutral is one of my top style tips. You’ll find yourself wearing the print a lot more once you learn this. Trust me, it does go with so much more than you would think. While trying to come up with leopard and plaid outfit ideas to style these shoes and this new top, I instantly thought of leather. This leather skirt helps to add a little more edge but the pencil silhouette also keeps it a little more classic (with a twist of course!).
