There’s a handful of spring shoe trends that are happening lately that I am loving. This season is all about the colorful shoes from neons to beautiful pastels. The thong-heeled sandal is BACK and is making me feel like I’m heading to class in middle school.
I rocked the pink thong kitten heels like it was my JOB. There are also the braided sandals in any and all colors and heel heights. But the trend I’m loving the most has to be the platform sandals.
I absolutely love a good chunk platform 70s-inspired sandal. If I had to choose a decade to dress in for the rest of my life, it would 100% be the 70s. I love all the wide leg denim, platform and cork wedges, faded concert tees, and boho tops. It’s everything to me.
So it’s no surprise that these See By Chloe platform sandals are giving me all the heart eyes this season. There are so many platform sandal options to choose from right now so today I want to share a few of my favorites to shop for.

Best Platform Sandals For Spring And Summer
Flatforms
Flatforms may remind you of the Steve Madden black fabric mules we all had in the 90s. Actually… I don’t think I owned them. But they were everywhere. Just a flat, platform sandal or mule which comes in a variety of platform heights. So many to choose from whether you want an espadrille style, or wooden clog, or a fun fabric one.
Espadrilles
A platform espadrille is a classic and perfect for spring and summer. Wear them with all your summer dresses and even shorts. These also come in a variety of heights whether you want a platform espadrille, or a wedge, or even a heeled espadrille. Plus, there are lace-up styles or espadrille slip-on styles too.
Bold Prints & Colors
These are giving me all the 90s vibes and I am loving it. The bold prints and patterns and fun colors are such a great change of pace from all the neutrals. I’m loving these green gingham ones, and these from Castaner are super cool and interesting. If you’re not big on color, this is a fun way to try it out by keeping it away from your face and allowing the rest of the outfit to be neutral.
Wooden Soles
This feels very 70s and boho. A wooden platform just screams laid-back hippie vibes. They come in tons of options and colors too. I am really loving the Cult Gaia cut-out ones here. Wear these with bell bottom denim for the ultimate boho look.
High Heeled Platform
My personal favorites. A high-heeled platform is my go-to and what got me loving this trend again. Having a platform high heel also makes the shoes so much more comfortable. While my See by Chloe heels are super high, the front platform really makes them a little over two inches in height. They’re super comfortable. Wear with all your favorite dresses, mini skirts and of course, denim!
