I know I say this every year, but the holidays really creeped up on me. Is there a way to slow it all down? If you know of any tips, be sure to let me know. Because I’m just all over here enjoying holiday cocktails and wondering where fall went and why there’s a Christmas tree in my house already.
The holidays usually mean for most people, entertaining. It can be a stressful time of year with trying to manage it all. Today I’m sharing the only two cocktails you need to have handy that are impressive and easy to make. With the help of Master of Mixes, holiday cocktails are a cinch and will be checked off your list quickly. Plus they’re super affordable and make creating cocktails fun and easy with their one step cocktail mixes.
For Thanksgiving, it’s all about the big potluck meals. Friendsgivings are popular among my friends, so bringing something for the group is always fun. If you’re hosting, it’s nice to have a signature drink that guests can enjoy and easily make themselves. This festive Thanksgiving cocktail recipe uses pomegranates and ginger beer. They’re two of my favorite things to have in a cocktail. To create this Thanksgiving Pomegranate Fizz, add equal parts Master of Mixes Red Sangria, Master of Mixes Whiskey Sour Mix to 1 1/2 ounce of your favorite liquor (I prefer tequila but vodka or rum work fine here) and top with ginger beer and pomegranate seeds. By leaving it all out for guests to create themselves, they can choose their liquor of choice and add in as much or as little of the mixes they like.
Since this cocktail is just equal parts of the Master of Mixes plus a splash of ginger beer, it makes your guests the bartender without having to worry about a thing. It could also be fun to write the recipe out on a mini sandwich chalkboard so your guests can whip it up easily. I’m all about not having to worry much about cocktails and this helps to make entertaining much easier during such a busy time.
