I think it’s safe to say these are officially my summer jeans. They’re lighter than my usual go to’s and the tulip raw hem is SO fun. You’ve seen me wear them a little too often like here and here, whoops! But when you find a good pair of denim, you live in them, right?
But onto other things. I finally decided to make a Rachel Parcell purchase. You may know her as Pink Peonies. She’s sort of the queen of blogging in a sense. My favorite fun fact though about her, she created my very first blog header. Yup! That’s right! I remember emailing her back in 2012 before she was the powerhouse she is today. She was so kind and helped create a logo I loved. For $30 whole dollars, I’d say it was pretty solid. If you need a good chuckle, here’s a look back at my first ever logo!
The thing is, 6 years ago, beautiful pre-made blog themes didn’t really exist. We had no idea what we were doing and I so desperately wished I learned to fix up my site much sooner. But alas, here we are today and I say we’re doing just fine. But to support her in what was clearly her calling in life, apparel, means a lot. Supporting fellow creatives and bloggers is always a great thing to do in this community and I think it’s important we do more of it.
