One of my favorite brunch spots in Atlanta, Buttermilk, serves up a bruleed grapefruit like you wouldn’t believe. Well I would believe, because it’s the only one I’ve ever had. I loved it so much I thought I’d try recreating it at home. This dish makes for such an easy breakfast, or even sweet treat after dinner. Just sprinkle with a little brown sugar and throw it under the broiler for 5-7 minutes. The warm grapefruit and crunchy top make for an incredible combination that takes grapefruits to a whole new level. Buttermilk serves it up with a dollop of greek yogurt and I sorta wished I did that here too. Next time folks, next time.
