Easy White Chocolate Oreo Popcorn

You read that right, white chocolate, Oreo popcorn people.  You saw these beauties on my instagram here and as well as in my “Minis” Party post.  I wanted to think of a fun twist on popcorn for my party and knew how much my friends and I love Oreo’s that this would just be a no brainier. The combination of sweet and salty is really perfect and not too overbearing. Simple and quick to throw together for any party. Your friends will be super impressed by this gourmet popcorn.

Easy Oreo White Chocolate Popcorn Recipe

INGREDIENTS

• 1 bag of light butter popcorn
• 4-5 Oreo’s chopped up – I tossed mine in a plastic bag and banged it on the counter with a rolling pin
• 1/2 cup of white chocolate morsels, melted

METHOD

1. Pop your popcorn according to the instructions
2. Melt your chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler
3. Throw popcorn, melted chocolate and Oreos into a big plastic bag and shake it around until well coated.

TIP: Pour the melted chocolate in batches so that you don’t get it all in one spot since it’ll stick to what it hits first.
