I have quickly developed an obsession with Sezane bags. Their leather bags have become my absolute favorite accessories in my wardrobe. And the collection is ever-growing.
With quality leather, beautiful classic shapes, yet fun colorways to choose from – should you wish to go bold – these are pieces I know I will have for a while. I am not one to jump on trendy bags, or ones that have big logos. In fact, I like simple and classic whenever possible.
I have a comprehensive guide to all things Sezane here. From their sizing, to the shipping and more. But with so many questions about their bags like how big is the Milo compared to the Claude, it was time for a full guide of their bags.

Sezane Bag Review

Milo Bag
The Milo bag is the perfect bag for every day. It’s roomy enough to fit a small purse pouch, sunglasses, keys, card case and AirPods. Plus a few other little things. I usually can fit my mini umbrella in here as well.
This smooth leather exterior is really beautiful and while it has some scratches on it, it still looks pretty great. When the leather does scratch, I find that it doesn’t turn a different color or anything which is key. I am very hard on my bags and am super impressed with the quality.
There is an exterior pocket that your phone can fit in (it will stick out though). And also inside there are a few accordion-style pockets. There is an interior pocket where I usually put my card case and also my headphones. A main pocket for your larger items, and then a small pocket which really only can hold something very thin like a receipt, a card or two, etc.
The straps are adjustable so you can wear it crossbody or on your shoulder. The length of the handles are either 33 cm / 13 for the shoulder option, or 50 cm / 19.7 in for the cross body option.
Milo Bag Dimensions: 17 x 24 x 4.5 cm / 6.7 x 9.4 x 1.8 in
Mini Milo Bag
The same shape and style as the Milo Classic bag but in a mini version. This is roughly the same size as the Claude bag but with a slightly different shape to it.
These straps are also adjustable and your handle length options are 40 cm/ 15.7 for shoulder straps, or 52 cm/20.5 in the cross-body option.
Mini Milo Classic Bag Dimensions: 12 x 19 x 5 cm / 4.7 x 7.5 x 2 in
Sezane Milo Bag vs A.P.C Grace Bag
The most common question I get asked about the Sezane Milo bag is how it compares to the A.P.C. Grace bag. I have not owned the Grace bag, but I have swooned over it for a while and have browsed them in person often.
The biggest difference is that the A.P.C. Grace bag is stiffer than the Sezane Milo bag. And the interior pockets (similar accordion style) are not entirely usable. The main compartment is, but the other two are really for a credit card or two and that’s it. Whereas the Sezane Milo bag allows a lot more room in the extra pockets outside of the main one.

Claude Bag
The Claude bag uses the same smooth leather as the Milo and Mini Milo. It also adorns the same brass gold clasp. But the thing I love about the Claude, is the unique shape. The slightly rounded edges are what make this bag really special. And I love the colors it comes in. The Milo Classic mostly comes in well, classic colors. But the Mini Milo and Claude bag tend to come in more fun and interesting colors in addition to your standard blacks and browns.
The handle is also adjustable, and your two options are 52 cm / 20.5 in
Claude Bag Dimensions: 15.5 x 20 x 6.5 cm / 6.1 x 2.6 x 7.9 in
As you can see, the Claude bag is just a smidge larger than the Mini Milo Classic. I find the Claude to be the smallest bag I’d want size-wise. The Mini Milo is really quite small and you’ll have to refine what you keep on you. This is one of my most loved purses in my closet.

Sezane Claude vs Sezane Milo Bag
Above is an example of the size and shape difference of the Milo bag versus the Claude bag. I would say that the Mini Milo is more similar in size to the Claude. I think a smidge more fits in the Claude which is ideal. The Milo is definitely a larger bag as you can see here.

Farrow Bag
The Farrow bag is a classic drawstring bucket bag that I feel like Sezane has been known for for years. The Farrow bag comes in a full size, and a mini size as well. The full size is spacious and is great for those who want more space compared to the Milo and Claude.
This bag has a small pocket on the inside to hold your phone or card case and has a cotton lining. You can also adjust the straps for the perfect fit.
Farrow bag dimensions: 26 x 23.5 x 17 cm / 10.2 x 9.2 x 6.7 in
Handle length: 97 cm / 38.2 in
Sizes
The Farrow bag also comes in a Mini Farrow which is 21 x 15 x 16 cm / 8.3 x 5.9 x 6.3 in, and also a Micro Mini Farrow bag which is 17.5 x 12 x 19 cm / 6.9 x 4.7 x 7.5 in.

Mara Tote
The Mara tote is one of the most gorgeous bags in my closet. I feel like this looks like a really high end designer bag, yet it costs a fraction of the price. The bag is super spacious and can fit my laptop with the case on it.
While the bag is not a classic right angle tote bag, I still find that my laptop fits just fine in it. If you have a very large laptop, it may stick out, but that’s fine too.
The straps are like a cinch style. So if you want to open the bag it is easier to take it off your shoulder so you can open the bag up. When you pull the straps it cinches the bag closed at the top.
The handle length is 32 cm / 12.6 in making it the perfect shoulder bag. And the overall dimensions of this bag are 30 x 14 x 46 cm / 11.8 x 5.5 x 18.1 in.
The Mara tote comes in a few colors, Smooth Honey, Smooth Black and Smooth Chocolate. The Smooth Chocolate is like a warm brown color, a bit unique from other classic brown bags.

The Baskets
The baskets at Sezane are a summer favorite. From large totes like the Paloma bag, to more structured shapes like their classic Milo. There’s also bucket bags, clutches and fun shapes. I love the Paloma bag so much (seen above on the right) and it makes for the perfect travel bag. Wear it to the beach, to dinner, and on the plane.
The Wallets
To complete your Sezane bag collection, try out some of their wallets. There are card holders, to mini awllets, and even full sized wallets to choose from. Lots of colors and textures too. All of the Sezane wallets are made out of their high quality leather.
SÉZANE FREE SHIPPING AND SHIPPING CUSTOMS CHARGES
Something to note when shopping at Sezane is that they have really easy free shipping and returns. Plus, their shipping is super fast. Be aware that if you spend over $800, you’ll be subject to custom charges on your order. When shopping for bags, this can easily add up to $800.
DON’T SPEND OVER $800 IN A SINGLE DAY
Separate your orders if this does happen. And it is recommended to wait 24 hours before placing another order to avoid the custom charges.
Now to decide which beautiful Sezane bag to add to your collection. That may be the hardest part! Clearly my collection is growing and for good reason. These bags are beautiful, functional and well made.
