A few weekends ago I joined my friend Ryan for a long walk on the beltline. This is one part of the city that I just love and haven’t really been able to spend a ton of time on. I don’t live walking distance to an entry point, but my pal Ryan does! We walked for probably almost 2 hours down the beltline and through Piedmont Park. Atlanta is at this fantastic point with the weather where it’s warm enough to break a little sweat but not too warm that you sweat by just standing outside. These Spanx leggings and bra (which is now on sale!) were super comfy and I even took a nap on the couch in them afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend doing a spin class in these, but a good long walk, or a nap, are perfect.
If you’re ever visiting the area and need something to do, definitely hit up the beltline at just any point and walk around from neighborhood to neighborhood. Last weekend, we went from Victory (if you go, definitely get a Jack and Coke slushy) and walked all the way down to Ladybird and then over to Greg Mike’s gallery. It was such a perfect day and made me really hate the fact that I have to DRIVE to get to the beltline. I’m making it a point this summer to get my butt on the beltline much more and may even bring hells angel, Pork.
