There’s just something so easy and simple about throwing on a great jumpsuit for spring and calling it a day. They’re comfortable (albeit hard to go to the bathroom in but worth it) one-piece wonders and stylish. Spring and summer are definitely the seasons I like to wear a jumpsuit or romper over winter. Not sure why that’s the case for me, but it just is! They’ve quickly become a wardrobe staple for me. I did however rock this pretty wide leg black one for a winter wedding and it was a stunner! If you haven’t gotten on the jumpsuits-for-spring trend, now’s the time to do it!
Jumpsuits are super easy just like dresses. Throw them on and go, they’re so easy to wear. Add a denim jacket for when the day gets cooler. And for shoes, you can easily go comfortable and casual in a flat or espadrille, or a little more dressy in a wedge or heel. This Gal Meets Glam Collection ‘Rue’ jumpsuit is a versatile one for sure (this one is so similar!). Although no longer available, I’m rounding up some fun floral print jumpsuits below along with all different jumpsuit outfit ideas from dressy, to casual and everything in between. So many jumpsuit outfits to inspire you for the season. Because trust me, they’re a closet favorite!
The Best Jumpsuits For Spring
Jumpsuit Outfit Ideas For Spring & Summer
Printed Rompers & Jumpsuits
My go-to for summer, these printed jumpsuits and rompers make getting dressed on a hot day super easy. Whether you go for a classic stripe which is great for a 4th of July party, or a pretty feminine floral, a print is always a good idea! Typically I like to reach for jumpsuits that are cotton or linen for a lighter fabric that’s breathable in the warmer months. Madewell always has some great options, and I can usually find some great under $100 jumpsuits at Nordstrom too that are in fun prints.
I love to pair my printed jumpsuits with espadrilles and why not add a fun hat? I’m almost never without a denim jacket because it’s such an easy added piece to throw on to complete a look and keep you warm when the day gets cooler. They’re a great addition to jumpsuits to complete the look.
Casual & Dressy Little Black Jumpsuits
Having a little black jumpsuit is always a good idea in my book. I’ve been wearing this Club Monaco lace romper below for years. It’s been dressed up, dressed down, you name it I’ve styled it every which way. But I think my favorite is the Vince Camuto wide leg stunner that I wore for the holidays. It was the perfect outfit for a wedding and great for any holiday party. And lastly, my Madewell tie-back jumpsuit. I’ve worn this one to death and it usually comes back each year in a new print and sometimes in new fabrics. It’s beyond versatile as I’ve worn it with heels and also Adidas. This piece has lasted years in my closet. And clearly it must be a best seller if Madewell keeps bringing it back and refreshing the fabrics!
Dressier Rompers & Jumpsuits
A dressier romper or jumpsuit can be a great alternative to a cocktail dress in my opinion. With the right fabric and accessories, they’re such a great option. Take this amazing bright burnt orange Trina Turk one I styled in Palm Springs that’s seriously formal event perfection. But also my Gal Meets Glam Collection ones are really great for dressier summer occasions. I know these are no longer in existence, but you can sometimes find them on ebay! They’re great for a bridal shower, baby shower or any spring or summer soiree you need to attend. Investing in versatile ones that can go both dressy or casual, is always ideal. The bottom two jumpsuits are great for dinner out when done right, but also perfect for walking around a neighborhood festival in sandals or a cool sneaker.
Everyday Spring And Summer Jumpsuits
For everyday, I love simple easy to wear jumpsuits. These can be cotton, linen or even denim jumpsuits. They’re easy to throw on and don’t require much styling. Having a few of these options to pull from for everyday errands, lunch with friends, or vacation are perfect! A few favorite brands that do a great casual relaxed fit everyday jumpsuit are Madewell like the below navy cotton one, Splendid, Alex Mill and Pistola Denim. This lilac one is a favorite!
