Lately I’ve been whipping out the wide leg jeans a lot more than usual. I blame this on the fact that I let my friend borrow my FAVORITE DL 1961 jeans while in Europe and didn’t get them back until a week or so after. So I’ve had to result to breaking out of my usual routine. It’s funny how much I rely on my one favorite pair of jeans that I legit wear ALL THE TIME. It’s embarrassing really if we’re being honest. By having them out of sight out of mind has forced me to pay a little more attention to the other things I own. And clearly have been neglecting.
To some, high waisted wide leg jeans may be a little intimidating to wear and fear not, they rule. I like to stick to a few different styles of tops and shoes when I wear them. First, I like to make sure my tops are always tucked in if they’re blouse, or at least fitted. It helps to balance out the bottoms. For shoes, I prefer to stick to an open toed shoe. Its a personal preference for me, I’ve never been into a closed toe shoe with a wide leg for some reason. I usually do a chunky heel or wedge. With these simple tips I think you’ll be able to rock this look easily!

Last week Cathy and I launched a super excited new project, The Workshop! After our conference, we received so much feedback that more bloggers wanted more hands on insight and learning opportunities to better their blogs. The Workshop will be open to ALL bloggers (not just TBS members, but if you’re a member you’ll get a special discount) and will be a 4.5 hour event hosted on November 13th. This workshop will cover the lifecycle of a great post from pitching, to negotiating, contracts and more. At this workshop, you’ll receive tangible takeaways and examples to easily implement immediately into your blog and business. Plus, as with any Blog Societies event, you can expect great food, conversation and a swag bag. Tickets are only $185 for non-members and you can purchase your ticket here.
