We’re officially tackling our first hump day of 2021 and I have to say, I’m feeling pretty good. This is the most productive 48 hours I’ve experienced in at least a month it feels like. It’s like I just needed a really good long ridiculous break to finally get back to it. 2020 was truly the year of coasting for me from a business standpoint and personal. And with getting dressed…
Are You Ready For Real Clothes Yet?
This past year I leaned in really hard to joggers and sweats and leggings. All things comfortable. And I’m not mad about it. I’m also not giving them up anytime soon. Joggers became my staple pant so much so that I did a full post on different ways to wear them. And hello, here’s another! It really is very easy and simple to style joggers to make them appropriate for running errands or having a socially distant get-together with friends.
But this had me thinking, at what point will I be giving these up? When this is all over do we think we’ll toss our sweatpants and donate them? Or maybe retire them to the the pajama drawer only? I have to say though, I think I may rock these forever. These have become our uniforms and our comfort. I can’t fathom not putting them on again. For one my jeans are a little snug so that’s not happening anytime soon unless it’s for a specific reason.
This outfit includes some of my favorite things from pre-pandemic to current pandemic. The beloved moto jacket that I have had for years now and can always find an excuse to wear. My white Reeboks are a great all white sneaker that can be styled so many ways. Check out this post on ways to style Reeboks. And of course, a cotton white tee. A staple! And of course the joggers themselves. These Lou & Grey joggers are so good I dedicated an entire blog post to them. Happy to report that these are holding up super well. And I wear the matching pullover with them often.
