It’s been a summer of tie-dye shirts and biker shorts. And I have to say, I’m glad to bid them adieu. I was never into it and although yes I do have a tie-dye set, I like to think it’s more of a neutral. This is it and I wear it so often either together or separate. It was the perfect summer set to lounge in too. So for fall and winter, it’s time grab some new sweatsuit sets to stay cozy in but also feel like you’re kind of pulled together.
PS this H&M sweatsuit is sadly now sold out but have tons of great options in today’s post!
The Best Sweatsuit Sets For Fall And Winter
H&M Cotton Blend Jogger Set
A super sleek and super affordable set from H&M. Purchase as separates, but I’m loving this plum color for fall. It’s a nice change of pace from all the grey and black that’s out there.
Also, this is the only set in the list that has a zip up versus a pull-over.
Splendid EcoKnit Recycled Fleece Sweatsuit Set
I love when a brand goes eco friendly with recycled fabric. I think it’s AMAZING. Splendid’s recycled fleece sweatsuit is so cute and comes in lots of colors (blush, grey, cream, black). But I’m really loving this hunter green hue. Would be so perfect paired with a tan sneaker and tan trench.
Abercrombie & Fitch Crewneck Lounge Set
This little set comes in 3 colors and I’m loving this grey but the tan is also SO good and luxurious looking. I like the more fitted look of this one and the fact that the top is more like a sweater rather than a sweatshirt.
Wool Blend Jogger Set
This wool blend set from H&M is great for fall and winter. There’s actually very little wool in it, but it does have that knit look that makes it seasonally appropriate. Comes in a few beautiful muted hues as well.
H&M Joggers Set
I love the classic look of this jogger and sweatshirt. Plus, this sunny yellow color is so fun. It comes in three other colors, olive, grey and black. This is definitely an 80’s take on a sweatsuit but for 2020. I love the relaxed fit of it yet still slightly slim!
How To Style Sweatsuit Pants And Sweatshirts
Styling a pair of sweatpants with a coordinating sweatshirt is the high fashion we’re all seeking in 2020. Right? I know I am! There are a few ways you can style up your matching sweatsuit set for the season so you don’t feel like a slob.
Simple Fitted Tee
When wearing a sweatsuit set, I like to pair it with a more fitted tee. Short sleeve or longsleeve works. But the more fitted look helps to keep this feeling less sloppy. I love my Everlane tees and Madewell whisper cotton tee.
Wear Them As Separates
Easily pull each piece out and make new outfits with them. Pair your hoodie with jeans. Or layer it under a camel trench with booties for a cool look for fall. For the sweatpants, I love to just add my denim jacket, trench, or leather jacket for a complete look.
The Right Sneaker
I think the best way to style a sweatsuit set is with a cool white sneaker. I personally love my Reeboks and they give a super cool street style look to any outfit. I’m also partial to my Veja’s as they’re a more slim fit. I find this plays a role in the vibe of your look. You can also go for the classic Adidas Superstars. They really do work with so much too.

Sweatpants have officially replaced jeans and it’s totally fine with me!
