Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Global Runway ATL Event at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL for short!). Being a resident of Atlanta and some one who travels often, the ATL airport is the GREATEST thing. I was honored to have been asked to be a brand ambassador this year. I feel like half the reason why I choose to travel so much is because it’s just so easy and seamless from ATL. We’re not only the busiest airport in the world, but the most efficient (that’s a fact!). Plus with ATL being home to so many great restaurants and shops, I wanted to make sure you all knew it too!
The ATL airport is chock full of great shopping. If you ever find yourself in the airport with a layover, or visiting Atlanta, be sure to check around beyond the Hudson News and Starbucks. There’s some great beauty like MAC and L’Occitane (one of the busiest store they have) and some great clothing too like Brooks Brothers and SPANX.
While at yesterday’s event and presentation, they were passing around some bites from Chicken & Beer, Ludacris’ restaurant in Concourse D. I don’t care which Concourse you’re flying out of, hop on the plane train and get your butt to D gates to try the fried chicken. It was AMAZING. I plan on making a stop to this restaurant on my next trip. This is the only airport in my experience that you actually get to early to grab food at. I look forward to hanging out before my flight which is unheard of in any other city.
If you’re visiting Atlanta, or have a layover, don’t forget to spend some time in our favorite shops. I hope you love them as much as I do!
