New York City has turned me into a baseball hat owner. I was never one to wear one, but city life has changed me. Between the weather, snow, wind, sun, you just may need to wear a baseball hat. And honestly, living in Atlanta, and never being in the elements to go from point A to point B, made me not feel a need for it.
And since things have changed, I am now the owner of several hats. But the one I love the most, is of course, my exclusive Indigoer baseball hat. And now that it’s officially LIVE, I can finally wear it!

Here’s the funny story behind the official Indigoer baseball hat that you can order now through June 15th. This is a one time exclusive run of this hat so make sure to grab it before it’s gone!
I was doing my usual thinking out loud, constant commentary about life and things on my IG Stories and a follower sent me a message. And, of course, I read all of my messages and it read “she’s only happy if she’s complaining”. Instantly I realized this comment was not meant for me, and they probably meant to forward the story and send it to their friend.
I even responded to it in a friendly way to see if it was maybe them just joking. Parasocial relationships are unique so it’s possible maybe they thought they were being funny or snarky and getting in on it? They were not.
The accidental DMs to a story actually happen a lot. So this is just your friendly reminder to be careful who you’re forwarding and messaging to on Instagram. It is so easy to simply respond, and not actually SEND a story and message at the same time to talk shit.
But here’s the thing. This person wasn’t wrong. I do enjoy a little venting. And after sharing that sentiment, many of you also feel the same way. Sometimes it’s nice to just think out loud, not wanting any suggestions or solutions. Just a way to chat, vent, chit chat.
Ask anyone, I’m a very happy person, but I do enjoy a bit of bitching. But it’s all in good fun. I am so content and easy going, but I just think out loud sometimes. And it seems many of you feel the same sentiment. It was evident in all the DMs I got in support of it.
A lesson to learn
But also, this is your reminder to just not care what other people say about you. And if you can, find a way to laugh at it, make it your own and own it, you’ll be more confident and empowered by it. What other people are saying about you behind your back (or in my case, accidentally forwarding it to me), says more about them, and absolutely nothing about you.

But not only did I get a ton of messages in support of my feelings, I got a slew of messages saying “put that on a shirt” or “I’d rock that on a hat”. So you know what? I did it. It was a very unplanned opportunity that was presented to me at the perfect time when this all happened. It never crossed my mind to do it otherwise.

Since this is a limited edition baseball cap, all orders will need to be in by June 15th and then our embroiderer who is a local female-owned business, will embroider and ship you all your new Indigoer exclusive hat.
Inventory is also limited as this is an exclusive limited edition run. So get those orders in before they’re gone. And please allow our embroider a bit of time to get these made and delivered to you. We’re expecting about 2 weeks or so for that. And all sales are final since it’s a custom product.
